Collaborative Inspiration

International Women's Day March 8, 2025, was celebrated by Early Childhood Educators, throughout the Cariboo on Saturday, during a workshop put on by the Child Care Resource and Referral and facilitated by SD27 Early Learning Coordinator Beulah Smith. "Fishing With Grandma" by Susan Avingaq and Maren Vsetula with illustrations by Charlene Chua was the focus story during the "Building Literacy Skills Through Play" workshop. A full day of learning included tapping into our creativity and enjoying a lively presentation showcasing the importance of play and how providing intentional opportunities for play can guide and support incredible learning connections.
