Exploring Futures: TRU Open House Inspires Over 90 Lake City Secondary Students

This week, more than 90 students from Lake City Secondary had the opportunity to attend the Thompson Rivers University (TRU) Open House in Williams Lake. The event showcased a wide range of educational pathways, career training options, and community supports available right here in our region. Through campus tours, and conversations with faculty and local service providers, students gained valuable insights into post-secondary opportunities and resources that can support their learning journeys. Collaborating with community partners like TRU is a vital part of helping our students envision and prepare for their futures.
