SD27 Early Learning
We had incredible morning at the South Cariboo Recreation Complex on January 23rd. Our "Winterfest" event promotes physical literacy and connects families with local service providers while engaging in some super activities: mitten hunt, snowman craft, decorating snowflake cookies, snowball toss, building a snowman, snowman bowling and of course the main event... skating with the snowman. Thanks to the amazing families for braving the wintry roads! Sending gratitude to all the participating agencies, Cariboo Conservation Society, Cedar Crest Society, Cariboo Regional District Library, Cariboo Chilcotin Partners for Literacy, Cariboo Family Enrichment Center, and School District 27 Early learning team, it takes a village! We were thrilled to see 19 pairs of ice skates find a new home and support families to get out on the ice.
