Remembrance Day at Marie Sharpe

Marie Sharpe honoured Indigenous Veterans Day and Remembrance Day on November 10 this year. We held our assembly in the afternoon, and welcomed many students' family members as well.

Mrs. Campbell's class performed a rendition of "In Flanders Fields," we learned about the origin of the Poppy, and we talked about honouring the sacrifice of those who fought for our country. We went back to our classrooms we carried the spirit of remembrance with us, by working to show kindness, helping others, and standing up for what is right.
