Secwepemc Friendship Dance

During Pink Shirt Day, Cataline students and school community all joined together to participate in the Secwepemc Friendship Dance. Led by Mrs. Howell and her grade 1/2 class, and Ms. Charley, students learned the history and personal connections to the Friendship Dance. Mrs. Howell then led the entire school community through the dance, focusing on inclusivity, respect, and friendship. The Cataline gym was full of smiles, laughter, and kindness! Everyone left the gym with their hearts full.
