South End Elementary Educators Focus On Literacy

Improving the literacy skills of our students was on the agenda for a group of south end elementary educators, who met with SLP Charlotte Lundeen and Helping Teacher Marianne Okrainetz to learn more about the scope and sequence of foundational literacy skills and how these skills connect to core instruction and intervention processes. The meeting focused on shared responsibility, common tools and consistent skilled instruction with the goal of strengthening literacy outcomes for all learners across our schools. November Pro D Day, where the voice and experience of skilled literacy teachers can enhance the literacy approaches of all participants.
